Who We Are and What We Do...
Lincolnshire Community Assistance Team (L-CAT) is a group of volunteers from the local area.
The primary aim is to offer professional assistance to the emergency services in less than life threatening situations so that they can respond to higher priority assignments.
We also wish to provide help in adverse weather conditions such as delivering medication to the elderly, or those in end of life care in adverse weather. Flood protection and evacuation, missing person searches this all helps to alleviate the stress on the emergency services.
Responders are put through Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)...
We welcome all new members, medically minded or not, drivers or not, car owners or 4x4 owners. Everybody can have a role and assist their local community. The Group is covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Learn why L-CAT is important to us ...Learn why local businessman David Salkeld decided to join L-CAT. This is what he has to say ... “So, what's my motivation to be involved with L-CAT? I believe L-CAT is a very capable Emergency Services Assistance Team within Lincolnshire. Time and time again the members of L-CAT have proved their tremendous capability in assisting Emergency Services.. 4x4 Logistics in all terrain and difficult weather. Assisting to clear roads. Legwork in Missing Persons Searching. Welfare checks on vulnerable people. And more as they develop existing and new skills. L-CAT is becoming more and more used by Emergency Services thanks to our reputation. So why don't you consider joining us....” So how can you get involved?
