50.22 Matters Arising
Wildlife Board - Cllr Hibberd is in the process of supplying photos for artwork on new wildlife notice board to DAB Graphics. It was agreed to have a powder coated aluminium frame which shouldn’t collect water.
Village Notice Board - The new village notice board is on order, Mr Jacklin wants the old one to repair it and put it on the Playing Field.
51.22- Financial
Although Cllr Bensley has not been notified, Clerk has been notified he is now a signatory on the account.
One cheque between meetings
670 Notice Board Co (UK) Ltd. - £831.72
At meeting
671 – HMRC – Paye
672 – P. Plumridge – 3rd quarter wages;
673 – AG Smith & Co – Wages Bureau - £30.00
674 – PCC of Grainthorpe - £25.00 (replacing 669)
675 - R Drinkel – Mower fuel costs- £148.95
Cheques proposed by Cllr Hibberd, seconded by Cllr Lovatt.
Financial statement submitted was approved and bank statement signed by Chair.
Figures submitted by Clerk for precept were discussed and approved. It was also agreed to ring fence £1000 for tools/mower. It was proposed by Cllr Hibberd that the precept be increased by 2% to £4641, this was seconded by Cllr Lovatt, all in favour. Due to the tax base being higher this 2% rise would cost an extra 5p a year to a Band D property.
52.22 Parish Matters
Village signs, no progress, it is seemingly impossible to find two suitable sites. As an alternative, Cllr Bensley suggested a sign at one village focal point, possibly near the cross roads, for a statement piece of artwork. This was accepted as a good idea and will be researched further.
It was also suggested we could have spring and summer flowers round the existing village name-plate signs.

Councillor Co-option - No further volunteers have come forward for co-option, still have two vacancies.
Poor’s End – Ragwort – looking at spraying field in April, quote to be obtained by Cllr Hibberd. To be discussed again next meeting.
Kings Coronation - it is hoped all the organisations in the village will work together; PC will offer support where needed, nothing has been discussed or decided yet.
Salt Bins - To be checked for amount in them. One ton stored at shop, if not used, could be donated to school (if they could use it).
53.22 - Planning
N/062/02486/22 -The Orchards, Main Road.
This is a two tier extension with a very large shed at bottom of garden. Cllrs have no objections, however, in interest of neighbours would like a condition put on the substantial outbuilding for ‘no commercial use’.
54.22 Chairmans Items
Chair has been contacted by Richard Drinkel regarding the brown tourism sign he has for his cottages. This is renewed every 5 years and he would appreciate it if the PC would write and confirm they have no objection to the sign. Proposed Cllr Hibberd, seconded Cllr West. Clerk to write.
Cllr Hibberd is also involved in a planning problem with regard to an environmental problem. He explained the problem and what was going on and will keep Councillors updated.
55.22 - Items for Next Agenda
• Ragwort;
• Village;
• Kings Coronation
• Outreach Post Office
56.22 – Date and Time of next Meeting
